Candidate list of SVHC for authorization

Drawing up the candidate list involves a 45-day public consultation and creates obligations for suppliers of substances identified as SVHC.

Obligations of companies:

1. Supply chain: Inform customers of SVHC properties and precautions if concentration exceeds 0.1% (m/m) (provide SDS).

2. Notification to ECHA if articles produced contain more than 1 tonne/year per producer/importer of SVHC if the substance contained in these articles is more than 0.1% (w/w), within 6 months of addition.

3. Consumer information: Provide details of the substance and its safe use on request.
