List of recommended substances
The recommendation for inclusion on the authorization list is the stage at which ECHA proposes certain substances from the candidate list for inclusion on the authorization list (Annex XIV of REACH).

Substances on recommendation
Recommended substances are selected for their hazard and potential impact.
Inclusion process :
- ECHA evaluates substances on the candidate list according to criteria such as volume of use, exposure and availability of alternatives.
- A public consultation is held to gather the views of interested parties.
- ECHA sends a recommendation to the European Commission, which decides on inclusion in the authorization list.
