Additionally, ECHA wanted to update IUCLID so that it would include new data fields for reporting the characteristics of nanoforms and sets of nanoforms. The completeness check will now include a �verification that the sets of nanoforms are accompanied by a justification for creating the set�, according to ECHA.
Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, judges the deadline fixed by ECHA �too tight� for companies to provide more information on nanoforms� registration.
As a matter of fact, the latter also indicated that, as the guidance and IT tools are being released only a few weeks before the end of the year, registrants will have very little time to provide all the required data by 1st January 2020.
