Cosmetic Regulation coming into force

The new obligations introduced by this regulation include changes in the cosmetic product safety report, the designation of a Responsible Person, the labelling of nanomaterials and CPNP notification.

Here is a checklist to help you comply with the new Cosmetics Regulation.Have you checked:

  • the quantitative and qualitative formula of the cosmetic product?
  • the presence of banned substance traces?
  • undesirable effects?
  • availability of information to the public?
  • labelling?
  • animal testing and the alternative methods available?

And finally:

  • have you appointed a Responsible Person?
  • have you notified the cosmetic product via the CPNP?
  • have your prepared a PIF(product information file)?
  • are you respecting GMP (good manufacturing practices)?
  • are your samples and analyses reliable and reproducible?
